I was at art school when I discovered film makers such as Stan Brakhage, Len Lye, Malcolm Le Grice & Robert Breer, & began an obsession with experimental film.<\/p>\n

Studying 16mm filmmaking & animation processes such as developing, optical printing & editing, I became aware of the crucial role experimentation plays in the creative process.<\/p>\n

In 1996. after completing my second short film for the Animate scheme, I joined Picasso Pictures where I quickly found a reputation for design and motion graphics, creating campaigns for Sunday Times, Virgin, HSBC and M&S and forging relationships with agencies such as RKCR, AMVBBDO & Lowes.<\/p>\n

In 1999 I collaborated with the painter Steven Marshall and photographer Maria Mochnacz on a short film & a year later directed my first live action short for Channel 4’s Artificial Intelligence season.<\/p>\n

In 2000 I joined forces with Stuart Hilton & together we created FAQ. We went on to direct spots for Guinness, Ford, National Lottery, BT, Walkers, Cheerios, Samsung, Sainsbury’s, Twinings, Adidas, Heineken, William Hill & many more, picking up many awards along the way, including a D&AD Silver pencil.<\/p>\n

I also designed & created TV & Film Titles, including award winning Snatch Opening titles, Curse Of The Golden Flower & Sky Italia’s Romanzo Criminale.<\/p>\n
